Sooyeon Lim is an architectural designer working across cultural projects, hospitality, exhibitions and residential environments. Her work is shaped by a cross-continental background, born in Seoul, trained in London, and experienced in practices across the UK, Japan and South Korea.

She studied at the Architectural Association in London and graduated in Architectural Design from Konkuk University. Professionally, Sooyeon has contributed to projects with Adjaye Associates, Hopkins Architects, Kengo Kuma and Associates, CRAB Studio and Hyupdongwon. Her work includes bespoke residences for The Peninsula London, a series of landmark projects in the Middle East, the historic site exhibition at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and participation in the Venice Architecture Biennale with the Mnemonic exhibition.

Her practice focuses on clarity of form, sensitivity to context and the careful calibration of detail. She is interested in how architecture choreographs movement, frames experience and creates meaningful connections between people and their surroundings.
